2021 MA National Championship

Competition Details

April 16 – 17, 2021

Location: Allen Event Center, Allen, TX

Normal Capacity – 7,000 allows for social distancing and limited capacity for 2021 Nationals

Spectator Fee – $15.00 per day
Children under 6 and Spectators over 65 – $10.00 per day

Spectators should consider purchasing two-days on Friday to avoid standing in line on Saturday. A QR code will be posted of the schedule at various places throughout the venue.
We are thrilled to be in the beautiful Allen Event Center!  The spacious layout will allow for appropriate social distancing and create an incredible performance venue. The Allen Event Center is surrounded by several hotel options for your Nationals stay.  No matter the budget, you can find the perfect place for your team. Restaurants and shops are in close proximity and easy walking distance.
We are dedicated to doing everything we can to provide the safest possible competition therefore we will adhere to the following Covid Protocol

Competition Timeline

The competition begins on Friday morning and runs through Saturday evening! Teams should plan travel times so that they are available on Friday for competition.  Doors will open Friday, April 16th at 8AM and the evening will conclude by 10PM.  Saturday, April 17th the doors will open at 7AM and the contest will conclude by 10PM.  Spectator entrance fee will be $15 each day.  Please read the bag policy below as it will accelerate the entrance process to the event.

Medical Staff and Security

EMTs and Security are on staff in the Event Center throughout the competition. EMT will be located in the North concourse.

Video & Photography Policy

Please inform parents that video & still photography is prohibited at nationals.  Videotaping will not be allowed at this National Championship. Again, security personnel will escort from the building all those failing to abide by this rule!


The Allen Event Center operates a full-service concession stand throughout the event. Outside food and beverage are not permitted. Most teams will be able to walk to the numerous area restaurants.

Event Parking

There is ample free parking in the South Garage adjacent to the Allen Event Center.

Allen Event Center Bag Policy

Dance Teams and Directors will be allowed to bring in their dance bags with water and snack bars.  No other food can be brought into the arena.  The bag policy is for spectators attending the competition.  Please notify your parents and friends of this policy.
