2024 MA National Championship

Competition Details

March 22-23, 2024

Location: University of Texas Arlington, TX – College Park Center and Texas Hall Auditorium

College Park Center is a 218,000-square-foot facility set on the eastern edge of the UTA campus, in Arlington’s downtown business district. The state-of-the-art venue is perfect for athletic, entertainment, and corporate functions. Seating capacity is 7,000.

We are thrilled to be in the beautiful College Park Center! This state-of-the-art venue in DFW has a history of hosting Grammy Award-winning bands, national singers and songwriters including Drake, Aaron Neville & Ellis Marsalis, Doobie Brothers, for KING & COUNTRY, Jane Goodall, LeCrae, Casting Crowns, Anderson Cooper, and more.

Texas Hall Auditorium on the campus of The University of Texas at Arlington is a 76,000 sq. ft. proscenium theater. Full seating capacity for the building is 2,625 or 1,273 without balcony. Typical events include concerts, lectures, meetings, theater, and dance.

Spectator Fee – $25.00 per day
Children under 6 and Spectators over 65 – $20.00 per day

Spectators should consider purchasing two-days on Friday to avoid standing in line on Saturday. A QR code will be posted of the schedule at various places throughout the venue.

We will have Live Stream for the College Park Center only. This will permit anyone to watch the Dance Teams, Dance Officers, and Auxiliary teams free of charge.

Competition Timeline

The competition begins on Friday morning and runs through Saturday evening! Teams should plan travel times so that they are available on Friday for competition.

Medical Staff and Security

EMTs and Security are on staff in the Event Center throughout the competition. EMT will be located in the concourse.

Video & Photography Policy

Please inform parents that video & still photography is only allowed from the seats with your cell phone in College Park Center. Tripods or mono-pods cannot be utilized. Security personnel will enforce this rule! Our Nationals photographer, Champion Image, will have a photo booth set up to order team and individual photos. 5 Star Media HD will contact teams after the competition with opportunities to purchase video packages from College Park Center.

Photography will be permitted at Texas Hall as MA is not providing a photographer for this location.

National Champion Jackets or Rings

The highest scoring (on three routines) in the following divisions will receive Jackets or Rings free of charge: Officer Lines and Studio (highest scoring regardless of age), Jr High/Middle School, Small, Medium, Large, XLarge, and Super. All Team Divisions not listed may purchase Jackets or Rings through our MA Office.

Concessions

The Center operates a full-service concession stand throughout the event. Outside food and beverage are not permitted unless ordered for the teams through the approved vendor list provided for the directors.

Event Parking

There are paid parking garages near both the College Park Center and Texas Hall.

UTA Bag Policy
